Intriva Capital (“Intriva”), the independent alternative asset manager, today announces the appointment of Joe Hare as Senior Asset Manager. Joe’s appointment further strengthens Intriva’s asset management team, which works closely with management teams and operational partners across the Intriva portfolio to drive growth and maximise value.
Joe brings more than 12 years’ experience in asset management and property development, and joins from HIG Capital, where he was responsible for the management of its UK and German value-add portfolio and redevelopment initiatives. Prior to that, Joe held roles with Canada Life Investments and DTZ, and holds a MRICS qualification as Chartered Surveyor.
Tom Saunders, Head of Asset Management at Intriva Capital, said
“As Intriva continues to grow, it’s crucial that we have the right skillsets in place to support our management teams and identify the right strategic opportunities. Joe brings a wealth of asset management experience and will form a key part in developing and maximising growth in our portfolio, as well as bringing lots of relevant sector expertise.”
Joe Hare said:
“I am excited to be joining Intriva. As one of the most ambitious mid-market firms with a targeted focus, Intriva has an enviable track record of helping businesses grow and I very much look forward to contributing to that success.”
Joe’s appointment follows the recent hires of Kawai Chung as Managing Director within the Asset Management team, as well as Felix Mesch, who joined Intriva as Senior Analyst. The appointments come at a time of a strong capital deployment for Intriva, which completed four acquisitions in the past 12 months. Intriva’s most recent acquisitions include MoneyPlus, a market leading consumer debt advice platform in the UK, and Lending Works, a peer-to-peer lending platform.
